Je m'appelle Miren.
(Pronounced as "me-ren". So many people can't get that. Roll the 'r' if you can, to be truly correct. My family is Belgian, what do you expect?)

I am a rather shy and introverted Junior in High School, aiming for my life long dream of becoming a costume designer for movies. Since I am absolutely ape for historical fashion! Half of the time I will love a movie merely for the costume design in it (Hats off to Colleen Atwood.) I don't yet have the means to start making some of my designs yet or historical patterns but I finally will this summer! I particularly love vintage from the 20's-60's. I wear as much of it as I can afford or find (I find 40's and 50's more flattering on me) since I think Chanel was right when she said "A girl should be two things; Classy and Fabulous." I think 'classy' is my favorite compliment.

I love old Hollywood (even though it was crazy corrupted) and my hero is Audrey Hepburn- the epitome of class and kindness to others. I agree with her when she once said "My only religion is the belief in nature." I simply love nature and animals. Quite often I find myself most happy when I'm reading in my garden with my cat. Oh- Audrey reminds me, I also love Givenchy as well.
